Bob Leavitt, Physical Therapy Aide
Bob graduated from the University of Maine Farmington in 1997 with a Health Science Degree. He has worked as a Physical Therapy Aide for Back in Motion for over ten years. Patients value Bob’s background in personal training and have said that his vast knowledge of trivia make going to physical therapy more fun! Bob lives in Gorham with his girlfriend, Candice and their two sons, Wade and Nash. He enjoys weightlifting, hiking, camping, and wrestling with his boys.
Aga Lewandowski, Physical Therapy Aide
Aga joined Back in Motion in May of 2004 as a Physical Therapy Aide. Before joining Back in Motion, Aga had worked for seven years in a rehabilitation center in New York. It was there that she concluded that she really enjoyed working with people and helping them. Aga graduated from Southern Maine Community College and earned her Associates Degree in liberal studies.
Aga said that one of the reasons she enjoys working at BIM is because she loves being a part of a team who shares the same goal to provide patients with the best service possible. During her free time, she likes to spend time outdoors gardening, skiing, hiking, and going on long walks with her husband and dogs.
Lauren Webb, Physical Therapy Aide
Lauren graduated from the University of New England in May 2010 and earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Exercise Program. She plans to begin applying to graduate school in the next year to begin the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2012. In her free time, she loves to play sports, be outdoors, hiking, camping, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
Jenny Bardsley, Vice President of Public Relations
Jenny came to Back in Motion in May of 2005. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Franklin Pierce University in May 2004. She was our first Patient Representative in the South Portland office and then transferred to the Gorham office as their Patient Account Representative. In April 2008 she was promoted to Vice President of Public Relations. In her time away from work Jenny likes to spend time with her family, husband of 4 years Josh, and two kids Jacoby and Drew.
Janine Bouchey, Patient Representative
Janine started at Back in Motion in 2002 as a Physical Therapy Aide in the Gorham clinic. She moved into the office three years later as the Patient Representative. Janine takes time to listen to patients’ needs and concerns and does her best to accommodate their schedules. Janine’s warm and upbeat personality allows patients to feel at home as soon as they walk through the door. Janine said that she loves working with the Back in Motion Crew and working with patients. Patients love her too as they always comment how great it is to see her smiling face when they walk through the door!
In her spare time, Janine enjoys gardening, fishing and most important spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren!
Lori McDonald, Deputy Executive Director
After moving to Southern Maine from the Bangor/Brewer area in 1998 Lori started her career at Back in Motion. She has worn many hats since joining the Back in Motion team in October of 1998, she started as a physical therapy aide and by that July was the office manager. Lori is currently our Vice President of Administration. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from New England College in 1996. Lori’s previous experience was as a recreation supervisor at the Penobscot Job Corps and as the recreation director at the Chebeague Island rec center. In her spare time, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, son Jake, and her two dogs Bud & Otis.
