Mike grew up in Livermore, Maine and currently resides in Windham. He joined the Back in Motion® team in October 2010. He started as a staff physical therapist and became a Clinic Director when we opened our Portland clinic. He earned both his Bachelors in Science in Athletic Training Education and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of New England. He still works closely with UNE to help the next generation of PTs be the best they can be. Mike loves the autonomy of being a PT, knowing that everyone is unique despite possibly having the same diagnosis as someone else, their treatment plans must be unique. The satisfaction when someone finishes their program and meets their goals is a great feeling. He enjoys treating a multitude of conditions especially vertigo because not many people know there are PTs who specialize in the treatment of vertigo disorders. When not treating or teaching others Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 daughters, dog, cat, and pet dove, Henry!
