Gorham Marketplace 2013

On Saturday March 30th, Back in Motion Physical Therapy participated at the Gorham Marketplace, put on by the Gorham Business Exchange. Each spring the GBE holds the annual Gorham Marketplace event at University of Southern Maine’s Costello Field House.  This event draws thousands of people who stop by to play games, win prizes, see live performances, and learn about services that Gorham businesses have to offer.

As usual, this year was a big success. We had many people stop by our booth to find out about physical therapy services and how it could help them. A few people even received a free screen right on the spot to help alleviate some pain.  We were also very pleased to see so many of our former patients stop by our booth to chat along with their family members and friends.

For the first time, we did a live demonstration regarding Simple Steps to Stop Pain led by Mary Kroth-Brunet, MPT and assisted by Tristan Hayes, DPT, Ryan Hayes, MSPT, and Phil Jospeh, PTA. To make the event especially fun this year, we also decided to have a Back in Motion “photo booth.”
