David’s athletic background has centered mostly around Football and Lacrosse, where he was a team captain for both. He went on to continue these sports at the collegiate level, where he played at Dean College and Fitchburg State College. After college, David moved down south and continued to play football for the Florida Football Alliance Semi-Pro League.

Out of the two sports, David says that Football is his favorite,

“because of the importance of teamwork. You have to rely on your team both offensively and defensively. All positions matter and support each other. I also really like to hit.” David says the thing he misses most about playing football is the contact.

As a retired athlete, David isn’t out throwing tackles anymore, but he does continue to stay active by weight training, running, hunting, hiking. His advice to a former athlete is to, “Do the small things: flexibility and core strength are very important. If you don’t keep up with that art of your program you increase your odds of getting injured.”
